I, hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this safety waiver on behalf of my child, who will be participating in the CPAL Bicycle Rodeo event.
- Assumption of Risk: I understand that participating in the CPAL Bicycle Rodeo involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, and injuries, and I voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of my child.
- Protective Gear: I acknowledge that my child will wear appropriate protective gear, including a helmet, throughout the duration of the event. I understand that failure to wear such protective gear may result in my child's inability to participate.
- Supervision: I understand that the event will be supervised by qualified personnel who will provide instructions and guidance to ensure the safety of all participants. However, I acknowledge that ultimate responsibility for my child's safety rests with me as the parent/guardian.
- Medical Attention: In the event of any injury or medical emergency during the Child Bicycle Rodeo, I authorize event organizers to administer necessary first aid and seek medical treatment for my child. I agree to bear all costs associated with such treatment.
- Release of Liability: I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, or any affiliated individuals or entities for any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of or related to my child's participation in the CPAL Bicycle Rodeo, including but not limited to personal injury or property damage.
- Compliance with Rules: I agree that my child will abide by all rules and instructions provided by event organizers and will conduct themselves in a safe and responsible manner throughout the event.
- Photography and Publicity: I consent to the use of photographs, videos, or other media recordings of my child taken during the CPAL Bicycle Rodeo for promotional or publicity purposes by the event organizers.
- Agreement Binding: I understand that this safety waiver is binding upon me, my child, and our respective heirs, assigns, and legal representatives, and that it constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding my child's participation in the event.
